3.1 Product Descriptions

We strive to accurately display the colors, details, and designs of our dresses, Bolero Jackets, and ACCESSORIES. However, slight variations may occur due to monitor settings. Product availability is subject to change.

3.2 Special Collections

Certain items, such as those from Andrea & Leo Couture, Deklaire Bridal, made-to-order pieces, and select Celebrity or Aspeed Design items marked “Final Sale,” are personalized and typically non-returnable. Please review product descriptions carefully or consult our team before purchasing.

3.3 Service Area

We proudly serve a global community but currently cannot ship to some remote areas and parts of Asia.

4. Orders and Payment Terms

4.1 Order Process

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including stock availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are listed in US Dollars. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed orders.

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. Your payment is processed securely at the time of order. You represent that you have the legal right to use the chosen payment method.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 Processing Time

All orders undergo a meticulous 1-2 business day inspection and preparation process at our Detroit hub.

5.2 Shipping Options

• Standard Shipping ($12.95): Via DHL or FedEx. Estimated delivery within 10-15 business days after dispatch. Ideal for your Cocktail Party or Club needs.
• Free Shipping: For orders over $50, via EMS. Estimated delivery within 15-25 business days after dispatch. Perfect for planning ahead for a Cotillion or Church Choir event.

All delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by destination customs processes. You are responsible for any applicable import duties or taxes.

6. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Our goal is your perfect fit. Our policy is designed with the same care as our Black Tie collection.

6.1 Return Window & Condition

You have 15 days from the receipt of your order to initiate a return. Items must be unworn, unaltered, with all tags attached, and in original packaging.

6.2 Process

1. Contact Us: Email [email protected] within 15 days for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
2. Ship Securely: Send the item with the RMA to 2431 Wildrose Lane, Detroit, MI 48226 using a trackable service. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.
3. Inspection & Refund: Inspection takes 3-5 business days. Upon approval, refunds to the original payment method are processed within 5-10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

6.3 Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to availability. Price differences and exchange shipping fees will apply.

6.4 Faulty or Incorrect Items

For defective items (e.g., a flaw on a Chiffon Bolero) or incorrect shipments, contact us immediately. We will cover return shipping and expedite a resolution.

7. Limitation of Liability

Discount Dress Shops shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products, including but not limited to delays in shipping, minor variations in product appearance, or issues beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim related to your order shall not exceed the purchase price of the item in question.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts located in Detroit, Michigan.
